Finally some new fresh mixes on PHASE02! Hell yeah! I know it’s been a while but here it is finally. A new mix collection for our Hunting For Mixes section.

I’d like to start by featuring a Promo mix by a local DJ. He’s still very young but has got some serious potential to grow big in the techno scene. I’m talking about Thomas Dockx. Go check out his latest tracks on his myspace. Thomas’ September promo DJ set contains tracks by Rodriguez Jr., Lauhaus, Gabe, Peter Gun, Joel Mull, Matthias Meyer, Tom Buddon, Martini Bro’s, Alex Celler and more – In my opinion, a collection presenting his style perfectly. Next up are the Super Viral Brothers with their  Swine Flu Shot Mixtape. For who’se wondering, Super Viral Brothers are Olle Cornéer (from Dada Life) and Anthony Mills (Ghettotrance and more). This mixtape is completely different from the usual mixer. The viral brothers chopped up every track and wrote new songs on top. Insane!

As some of you might have noticed. A new button popped up in the navigation bar. That’s right! We’ve installed a forum recently. Everyone can enjoy this new feature by registering themselfs on PHASE02. If  you’re already registered, you have to log in to participate in the discussions.

I know the forum is still quite empty, but together with your activity we can make it into a fun place for music and art lovers, graphic designer and musicians. Designers can show off their work and receive feedback from all the PHASE02 readers while music producers can talk about their latest productions.

This way we want to try to get closer to our readers. Hope to see you guys there!

Hell yeah! We’ve got some news from Basserk records again. They’ve recently released two new digital Ep’s. The first release is the remix album of MilkMoneyMaffia called Milkshake. An amazing collection of five remixes of MMM’s funky vocals and delicious synths.

The second release is the debut Ep “The Horn” of Bronstibock, an Amsterdam based electro duo, you should keep an eye on. This is definitely not their last release on Basserk records. The Horn is without doubt one of the most varied releases I’ve heard in a while. Bronstibock teamed up with Aischa, Aux Raus and Eric Wallet to complete this album. Enjoy.

New releases from basserk in a couple of weeks. As usual we’ll keep you update. Also all the events of Basserk records will be shown in our sidebar.

Output Noise Records has recently release Outputmessage‘s 2nd EP. This time Outputmessage has taken 2 tracks of previous release and reworked them as vocal pieces. Output Noise Records got help from Nacey and Triobelisk to remix the tracks Resurface and Glintz. We have Nacey turning the original in a warm minimal version, while the Triobelisk reworks it with his best sci-fi synth magic.
