We’ve received some news from Basserk Records. They’ve recently launched two new releases. Shock And Awe and Tanzkonsol are the two big stars of this post. Shock And Awe brought out their first digital album on Basserk “Bass Rage”, containing five brand new raging electro tracks.

This one is getting big support from Ricardo Villalobos, Luciano, and even Kissy Sellout. The two men behind this project – Matteo Esse and Sant, hail from Italy and word is there in the studio working on an album for 2010.

Here’s a couple fresh remixes of 2 tracks that first appeared earlier this year on Moderats self titled debut album. I really wish T++ would have included more of the vocal from he original version. The vocal pierces right through me every time i hear it.

Martyn never fails to impress me because he’s such a versatile artist. I’ve shared another Fever Ray remix from Hakan Lidbo previously. If you’re looking for more check back through the monthly charts.

A-ux On Duty

Tae Gyun Kim a.k.a. A-ux is currently having his vacation from his military duty and of course he’s having a blast time. Now are we lucky that for him, writing music happens to be his most favourite thing to do. While he’s been enjoying his vacation it made a new tune expressing his current emotional state. Four months of abstinence of music sure made him very expressive. Now listen what his emotions has to say. This just might be the perfect track to start off a new week peacefully.

The next track is a little older, but he took the time to freshen it up a bit. Enjoy!

Thanks again to everyone who voted in our second poll. Apparently all our Techno/Tech-House lovers seems to prefer a room full of electro artists above real techno masters at I love Techno or different visitors have cast their vote in last week’s poll. It was again very interesting.

This week we gonna do something completely different. Let’s talk about one of the world’s best entertainers “television”.

Lets see if the PHASE02 readers enjoy television shows. I’ve listed a couple I personally enjoyed the last few months, just curious if you enjoy some of the same and which one is the most popular. I’m actually already really surprised by this little list. Because I still forgot like 5-10 shows I’ve been watching. Anyway please feel free to leave your opinion in a comment, so we can have a fun little discussion.

The best TV show is ...

  • Family Guy (21%, 32 Votes)
  • Dexter (16%, 25 Votes)
  • Lost (15%, 23 Votes)
  • Other, please mention in comment (12%, 18 Votes)
  • That 70's Show (12%, 18 Votes)
  • Fresh Prince of Bel-air (10%, 15 Votes)

Meat Katie

Hi everyone, tonight is my brother’s birthday and I think I’ve found the perfect track to start off this party.

Lot49 label boss, Meat Katie a.k.a. Mark Pember has released his new Ep Tension. I’m talking about a real big name here. For those who haven’t been around the past 15 years, Pember has produced for labels such as Lot49, Kingsize, R&S and Wall Of Sound to name a few. He has run two highly successful labels and has played all around the world. Now check out a 128 version of Tension and head over to Beatport to discover even hotter more banging tracks released on the Tension EP. I think “Lucia” is my personal favourite of this incredible release. Have a nice weekend!
