Who’re lately been remixed by the awesome Shook who’s the mysterious young talented producers with the magic glasses, you remember. Ronin E-Ville alias of Colin Patrick McGuire a Toronto-based producer and DJ recently released his new album Big Dirty Hifi. A unique album colored by various influences and gernes like electro, breaks, dub, lounge funk, rock … you get what I mean when you hear it. Awesome how these genres get bended into this electronic sound which makes you dance or even get you extremely relaxed. It’s been a while since I’ve seen a producers creative as Ronin E-Ville.Experience it yourself.

Bahnhof Zoo is a electro rock band from london. They gave me a remix of one of their tracks, called You look at me I reflect. the track has been remixed by Steve Kay and has a really nice sound. The band itself plays more indie rock, which sounds great too. be sure to check them both out!

It’s been a while since we’ve heard something from our friend Ryan Moore aka Kid Nexus. But no news is good news. Right? Yeah, it defenitely is. Ryan was very busy with a new project that he recently launched with his friend Johan Collins. They’re calling themselfs Nightsweats. They’ve already been live and apparently that’s been a good live session because so many people including some big names in the electro scene have been begging for their brand new tracks.

Stupidisco! A producer and dj from London whose just dropped his first track Marilyn Monroe. A slice of electro sampling the byker grove theme tune and being released into the blogosphere for the first time.

The Foals, an english rock band from Oxford are organizing a remix competition together with last.fm. They offer you the chance to remix Electric Bloom from their debut album Antidotes. The winning track will be chosen by Foals to be released along with a future single as a 7digital download bundle.

There’ve been already some quite remarkable entries. I really liek the way the different producers add their personal touch to this already rocking tune. I’ve selected my personal favourites…It was kind of hard though, they are all so good!

The Fire And Reason, I never heard of this NYC rocking band, not until Toxic Avenger worked out their forth coming single “NME”. Damn I love MySpace if it can get to these amazing collaborations. I really must thank the beatiful Bella to introduce me to this track and to their band. I love their original sound and I totally dig the distorted, chopped up version of the Avenger.
