Basserk goes AD

No Comments Electro, House

It’s been a while since we’ve heard something from Basserk. But I received some updates yesterday and it’s big.

Basserk:

After the ‘Split series’ we have now started the AD series. AD stands for All Digital and this means that from now on we will also release EP’s and albums just for digital sales. This doesn’t mean that we won’t release tracks on CD or Vinyl any more but that we realize that the market is changing and that we have to adapt to it to stay alive.

The first release in the AD series is ‘You hear what eye see’ from Drifter TV (NL).
Seven varied tracks that are hard to describe, think about: electro, techno, acid or bigbeat but
maybe just call it Drifterbeat! With their exciting combination of music and animation they have been touring most clubs/stages in Holland for the past years already. If you’ve seen one of those shows, you’ll know because it’s pretty impressive!
From now on a selection of Drifter tracks are for sale on Itunes, Beatport and other web shops. So you don’t have to wait any more till the guys play in your area, now, you can just download those tracks and listen at home or on your Ipod.

The second release in the AD series is ‘Musik’ from MilkMoneyMaffia (GL).
A mini album from a strange fella from Greenland with seven fat tracks that are in a way so simple that you wonder what this weirdo has been doing all his life. The weird vocals have a boy-ish humour that made us laugh a lot, the quirky little breaks in the tracks give you a nice surprise just as you were wondering off in the world of MilkMoneys strange mind.
Also this album is for sale now on Itunes, Beatport and other online shops.

Coming soon!

In about a month we will release the new compilation CD ‘Some Tunes 2’ with tracks from:
Gtronic, MilkMoneyMaffia, Nobody beats the drum, Sjammie the Money, 3-1, Capacocha and many more.
After that we will release the long awaited remix album from 3-1. At the moment they are finishing of the 13 remixes they have done so hopefully we can present the album to you before the end of this year. They remixed tracks from: Detroit Grand Pubahs, Transformer di Roboter, Krause, Lilian Hak, Elle Bandita, The Moi non plus, and more.

For all the upcoming events check Basserk.com or visit their MySpace. Don’t forget to give them some love. Now head over to beatport to get you some 320s of these bangers.

News from Basserk

3 Comments Electro

Yeah, we’ve a new announcement to make. From now on, once in a while we’re going to receive news updates from Basserk. It’s a small underground electro/punk label from Amsterdam who’s prepared to give the most recent information about their new releases along with some great tracks.

So this is it, you’re about to discover some great new underground talents.

A new vinyl has been released: Split 1, with 2 tracks from $jammie the money (NL) and 3 tracks from Genjini (F)

Producer and DJ $jammie the Money, also known as the DJ from Nobody beats the Drum releases his first solo project. Fat pumping electro, to the max! Genjini is already known by people following Basserk because of their track on ‘Some Tunes’, the Basserk compilation cd. Now they are back with 3 weird, energetic, bleepy, scratchy tracks. Yep, real bleepcore-electro with a french twist.

And another vinyl release: Split 2, with 3 tracks from Three cheers for dirty (F) and 3 from Lucky Goat (NL)

The french band ‘Three Cheers for Dirty’ spanks your ass with post-tekno electropunk. Three ruff, punky electro tracks, great!, but not for the average sunday morning.
The boys from Lucky Goat were part of another Basserk band called 3-1. Since a few years they operate in a new band called Lucky Goat. This is their official debut. It aint: electro, acid, reggae or hiphop. Let’s call it electronics with a ‘tropical breeze’.

The online 310k shop is done. From now all Basserk releases are directly available on vinyl and cd in this shop, if you want to be the first…..

From now, all the tracks released on Basserk also will be available on Itunes, Beatport, Juno etc. So, for all those people that have banned there record or cd player, you know where to get em!
