Hi dear design loving readers, ever heard of Hybrid Studio? You should have. It’s a design studio responsible for a lot of big film projects like the one above. More interesting is that I came across an interview with Jeff Lin, the owner of this incredible studio, at the recently updated design blog Digital Abstracts.Read the interview here.
Miroslav Dimitrov
Check out Miroslav Dimitrov. He’s a master in car design, automotive concepts and vehicles. And when I say master, I really mean damn hotness you know. If you love cars or just want to check out insane sketch skills, go to his online portfolio. It’s really insane what you can do with just drawing!
Digital Club
Mare Street, E8 — Digital Club from Digital Club on Vimeo.
Music and animation by DIGITAL Club, commissioned for Creative Future. Enjoy this brilliant animation and music! You can view a high resolution version of the film at thedigitalclub.net/mare-street-e8/.
We made an animated film that comprises a close-up of a biker’s visor as he cruises through an abstraction of the streets of London’s East End at ultra high speed,” explains Digital Club’s Tommi Eberwein. “It’s kind of a futuristic high gloss ode to London and our favourite time of day: the night. The audio track will be one of ours too. It’s going to be a complete audio/visual Digital Club package.
Lichtfaktor
Have I introduced you to Lichtfaktor yet? I might have. But I’d love to do it again. He’s a genius with colourful lights and long exposure photography. If you’re not really into photography and you have no idea what I mean with “long exposure”. It’s simply a technique that makes your camera capture light for a longer period of time which makes it possible to ‘paint with light’.
On his website you can check out all his amazing concepts he worked out with this technique. I even coincidently found out he’s worked for the San Miguel Hidden Depths event I wrote a post about a couple days ago. Enjoy his work!
And if you want to try this yourself, Lichtfaktor describes how do it in the about section.
Thinkdust
I’ve recently came across this amazing design studio founded by Alex Haigh, called Thinkdust. I found them through the Behance Network. They’ve already worked on projects for Nike, Sony PLaystation, Volkswagen, Guiness, Ministry Of Sound and many more. Check out their portfolio and enjoy their amazing typographic concepts and nice fresh design shown in a very well developed and nice looking flash website… very inspiring.
