On the first glance of things, one would not believe what slashTHREE has become: a haven for every artists aspiring to achieve something special. The variety of elements is astounding and almost unbelievable. Different people, different beliefs, different dreams, different hopes and different personalities. For slashTHREE’s tenth art release, we’d like to underline the harmonious result of those elements. depthCORE has released a new chapter full of some of the best digital artists’ work. This time they’ve given their interpretation of the theme called HER.

Consisting of a large selection of songs, photographs and illustrations, ‘HER’ is an inspired and considered response from their artists, produced over a six month period and encompassing many of the myriad concepts associated with their broad thematic selection. As a collective, they embarked on an extended creative voyage to examine and represent ideas and realities like maternity, romance, the modern heroine, vulnerability and, of course, beauty.

depthCORE, probably the most prestige digital media & modern art collective in the world, has released their 36th online exhibition called Heist.

The first instalment of a two-part banger, HEIST is designed to be a fun ride around the seamier side of life, with our artists focussing on any aspect of the theme that suited their fancy and riffing out whatever caper came to mind. Though it took a while for us to hit our stride behind the scenes, once we got going on this chapter it started to gather some serious momentum, and we’re pretty stoked with the end result. We’re similarly happy to be back to a sans-serif look on the site – much love to Matei Apostolescu and Brian D. Smith for their hard work on our slick new skin.

The online art community slashTHREE has released their 9th art pack “Order vs Chaos” today. Check out the wonderful digital art collection and give those artists some love. It’s without a doubt the best pack so far and hopefully not because I couldn’t make something this time.
