On the first glance of things, one would not believe what slashTHREE has become: a haven for every artists aspiring to achieve something special. The variety of elements is astounding and almost unbelievable. Different people, different beliefs, different dreams, different hopes and different personalities. For slashTHREE’s tenth art release, we’d like to underline the harmonious result of those elements. Not the melting pot, but a beautiful mosaic of art pieces ranging from various cultures, religions and nationalities. Ladies and gentlemen, gaze your eyes upon slashTHREE’s “World Exhibition II”!

Today slashTHREE has released their 7nd art pack AFTERLIFE. It’s a great day for this amazing art community. This pack contains 80 works of various young talented upcoming designers. Two months ago we were challenged by a new theme ‘AFTERLIFE’. A theme that provoced over 180 different interpretations in various different styles and media. So you can be sure you’ll be looking at the best that slashTHREE has to offer.

One year. One month. Twelve days.

That’s how long it’s been since slashTHREE was founded in early February 2007.

One year, one month, and twelve days later slashTHREE.com is proud to present to you slashTHREE v3 along with the sixth and strongest release yet – Odyssey. Despite the Greek meaning behind Odyssey, the term Odyssey relates to the journey slashTHREE and it’s loyal members have embarked on during our first 406 days of our existence.

As a token of our appreciation over the past 3 months the slashTHREE administration has been hard at work to produce slashTHREE version 3. At this time same, our artists have been laboring away; creating over 110 artistic entries, we have selected the cream of the crop to present to you.

I’m part of this community since version 2 of the website. I’ve participated in 3 releases and it’s simply amazing how the artists have improved since I first meet them. There’s really a wonderful atmosphere and tons of appreciation amoung the artists, making slashTHREE a great place for upcoming talents to develop their skills and style. Release 6 is a very special release. It’s far the best release ever on slashTHREE and promises even better artwork in the future. Also along this release a brand new website popped up.

Of course we haven’t forgot about the digital art scene! In fact I’ve participated myself in the new slashTHREE art pack Reawakening. It’s already slashTHREE‘s 5th art pack and it’s defenitaly the best they’ve released so far. The good news is, that the next pack is going to be huge and it’s going to be launched along with a great surprise!

This (above) is my submission of the pack. It’s called Breath In and I’m really pleased witht the result considering the time I spend on it. I’m just way to busy these days with all kinds of school projects. Also the pack theme Reawakening doesn’t exacly fit my style. The current one really does and I hope to find some more spare time to create something rocking for the next pack. Maybe something to print out and decorate my room with.
