loving the sparse 2 step beats untold has been churning out as of late. i wonder if he has any future plans to work with an mc? reminds me kind of like old eastwood tunes and hanging on with my cousin. oh, those memories, those times i took for granted…

cross over appeal.

not too sure how the animal collective fans are gonna feel about the summer clothes remixes. i can’t help but think about deadmau5, rhiana, or even snoop dogg all having recently “collaborated” with producers/artists working around the fringes of dubstep. but it’s like if you are hip to it – then you better get a dubstep or at least put some fuckn donk innit.

new orbison.

joy orbison has been stiring up a lot of attention since his debut release ‘Hyphy Mngo/Wet Look‘ – part of this massive reaction is due to the stark contrasts in mood, atmosphere, and presence, that many of his contemporaries are missing. these tunes are just fucking glowing with intense light and energy!

BRKLN CLLN/John Doe is out now on doldrum recordings and can be purchased online through boomkat.

We got some fresh news from Play Me Records.

DJs OB-One & J. Paul are HavocNDeed. Their dancefloor friendly yet bass ripping tracks are already in heavy rotation with Z-Trip, Drop The Lime, Nextmen, Shortee & Reid Speed, to name but a few. Play Me Recordings is now releasing their first AA side single, out Nov 2, with the already heavily-suported “BFYF” and the hauntingly original “Vindicta” which features a mindblowingly beautiful melody by violinist Theresa Paul.

While our latest poll has ended, telling me you guys enjoy the basslines and synths the most in electronic music, I thought it would be a good idea to post up these dubstep bangers by HavocNdeed. Enjoy these tracks and keep an eye out for the release November the 2nd.

Major Lazer ft. Santigold & Mr Lexx – Hold The Line (HavocNdeeD Remix)

New poll coming up later this day. Also I’m trying to start a discussion about I LOVE TECHNO 2009 on the forums. Feel free to join in.

Here’s a couple fresh remixes of 2 tracks that first appeared earlier this year on Moderats self titled debut album. I really wish T++ would have included more of the vocal from he original version. The vocal pierces right through me every time i hear it.

Martyn never fails to impress me because he’s such a versatile artist. I’ve shared another Fever Ray remix from Hakan Lidbo previously. If you’re looking for more check back through the monthly charts.
