Empire Of The Sun are dominating the world. Anyone can see that and also do the remixers. Thanks to them the most popular band of the world gets their tunes on the dancefloor too. I’ve made a quick selection of some of the best remixes launched in the blogosphere the last few days. Check out how electronic artists cut up and distort Empire’s magic sound.

Drop It 07

It’s been a while since I posted one of these. But it’s also been a while since I checked my dropbox and wow found some really nice tracks in there. Keep them dropping guys! I promise I’ll check it out more often from now on. Enough said let’s get on with this.

We start of with a Swedish collaboration between Quietboy and Yeah! Woho!.

Now that we’re warmed up, let’s make some place for some heavier stuff. Check out this still unsigned German electro duo Disko Bums‘s El Bombo. Oh just love how this track starts off with those heavy grungy synths. The track still needs some fine tuning but I have to admit I’m headbanging  right now.

The next one is from … I don’t know actually. I can’t seem to find a myspace of either the remixer or the original producer. The original might be from the young Belgian dj called Ilektronic. But can’t say it for sure. Talking about underground!? Anyway it’s a pretty cool track. Enjoy.

Next up is Big Nasty aka Cold Blank with his remix of LMFAO’s I’m in Miami Bitch. I’ve heard better of him to be honest. Ah well it’s a banger anyway, real dancefloor material. Give him some love.

Oh okay now just lets trash the happy synth melodies. That seems to be the goal of the Slovak Que on this tune anyway. For DJs out there who wants to get their crowd crazy, this might be the tool you’re searching for. Discodust described this track as “deep booming 808 kickdrums, clap massacres, funky organs, twirling synths, fat saw chords and a catchy vocal sample to a true club stormer, this is literal ‘electro house’ paired with a rock and roll attitude.”

The Hostigy

Wop Wop Wop! There’s a new Hostage remix! This time he transformed The Prodigy’s Take Me To The Hospital to a wobblin Hostage-style dancefloor banger. “Wobbly booty with all the stabs and gunshots you could shake a glow-stick at!” to Say it with his exact words. I on the other hand tried to express my feelings about this track with manipulating Alan’s picture. Sorry Alan, I couldn’t resist! But I think it says more than enough!

A-ux vs Mochipet

Hi everyone! For those who’ve noticed we’ve been quite busy for the past few weeks with lots of stuff but blogging. To make it up to you I’ve got a really cool track to share. Remember A-ux? He’s a New York based producer with a talent that makes him able to put emotion and energy in his melodies like no other. Although his remix of Mochipet‘s Sharp Drest is a lot more energetic and a lot less emotional. In other words I’m talking about a dancefloor banger. Check it out!

Joe And Will Ask Andrew Friendly

Today Gulp Communications gives away two tracks of two of their amazing producers. Joseph Ashworth and William Green from Joe And Will Ask? used La Roux’ s hit Quicksand to turn it into some real dancefloor material. Joe And Will’s Kitsune debut in January caused a storm and launched them into the beatport charts, and there’s youtube footage of Benny Benassi playing the lead track Claymore to maximum effect. Their next single is the massive Mongozo, backed with Shim and Merry Go, which will be out on Gulp March 30th.

The second track I’m talking about is the original It’s The Weekend of Andrew Friendly feat. Fast Eddie this time remixed remixed by Future Flash vs Dirty Disco Youth. Who doesn’t want to hear that final result? Andrew who’s actually member of the band Milke aswel does he run his own label Gulp Communication is as it seems a quite busy guy. Am I glad he still finds the time to do some rave and throws in some bangers once in a while. Give him some love!

Justin Faust

Justin Faust, a German producer who’s been making house music quite some time now. He basically grew up in a music studio, his father being a composer and producer. A couple of days ago we received some really nice tracks and remixes from his Revenge Ep, released on February the 2nd.

Several big music blogs called him everything a musician wishes to hear: “The bavarian synth magician”, ” The German French touch icon”, “This man definitely owns his own sound.” I know I’m not that good with words but despite all these wonderful efforts to describe Faust, nothing describes him better then his own sound.
